We want to offer writers an opportunity to see their work in PRINT. A real, tangible, in-the-flesh BOOK. Something you can squeeze into your holiday luggage, leave on a train for the next commuter, spill tea on, lend to a friend, or offer round the book circle.
You shouldn't have to pay to get a copy of a book YOU contributed to.
There are lots of competitions out there that will charge winners for copies of the work and the only prize is "publication" in a book that's only avaliable directly from the competition organisers. Not this one.
The prizes are copies of your work.

Poetry competitions
We run a number of poetry competitions throughout the year and our contributors all receive copies of the book.
The winner will receive £50, publication and 2 copies of the anthology. Runner up prizes of 2 copies will be given to all other poets published.
You will also be able to order extra copies at a reduced rate.

Flash Fiction Competitions
We run a number of flash fiction competitions throughout the year and our contributors all receive copies of the book.
The top prize is £50 plus publication. There will be runners up prizes for every story published in our anthology, and the writer will receive 2 copies of the book.
We'll choose the top selection of stories to be published.
Each year we run an illustration competition and our contributors all receive copies of the book.
The top prize here is publication in the collection, £100 in cash and 5 copies of the book. On top of that we're adding 5% of profits from any copies sold.
Runners up will be classed as contributors and receive 2 free copies of the book and 0.5% of profits from any copies sold.
All contributors will have the option to buy more at a reduced rate.
In 2017 we're planning to run 2 illustration competitions along side each other, a big one and a small one.
