Bio

Writer and artist Emma Lea has been writing since she could hold a pencil. Her passion grew and as she began to write for a living, she began to understand that not only is the world wildly unfair, but that there might be something that could be done about it. She took control of her writing career when she sacked her publishers and struck out on her own.
She publishes for herself now, and this new found autonomy has meant that she could choose her own projects. So to try to make the world a little less unfair she tells the stories of the people who need their stories telling.
She lives in Bury with a number of rescue animals and she writes their stories too.
